With COVID-19 rippling across the world, rest assured that we've taken significant steps to enhance the sanitation of our 3 retail stores. We're consistently cleaning throughout the store, with a special focus on commonly touched surfaces (door handles, counter tops, keyboards, rest rooms, test ride bikes, etc.)
We will maintain regular hours for now, but it's a constantly developing situation and our schedule is subject to change.
We welcome every healthy person to come in for your cycling needs. If you opt to socially distance yourself and still want to shop local, we've still got you covered with new and improved options. See below.
IN-STORE ADJUSTMENTS
LIMITING FOOT TRAFFIC
We’ve been limiting the number of people in the store -- current rules are one shopper (plus their guests) per sales associate. No need for an appointment, just drive over during business hours. We've been doing this the past couple weeks and it’s worked out really well. On occasion there’s been a little wait, but everyone’s been very understanding given the situation.

To reduce the time you'll need to spend in our stores, we welcome you to explore and research what you're looking for before visiting our shop. ONLINE: We have a fully established online catalog of our products to explore (select "in-stock" under filters if you want to see what we have available right now). We've been relentlessly sanitizing and cleaning commonly touched surfaces. Door handles, credit card readers, and more get wiped down consistently.

Are you looking for some cycling gear, but prefer shopping from home? We have a full catalog of cycling goodness available to explore right here on our website. We'll ship what you need directly to you! Every purchase $50 or greater gets free shipping throughout the great state of Iowa.
To redeem: during checkout, select "Iowa Shipping (Free > $50)" under Shipping Options. Limitations apply. If an item's size/weight is prohibitive to ship, we'll reach out to you with alternative options. New bikes cannot be shipped. In the event of modified hours/store closures, shipping may be delayed. Products must be shipped to an Iowa address to qualify.
FREE LOCAL DELIVERY WITH NEW BIKE PURCHASES
This is a great option if you know what you want, and would prefer not visiting a retail shop at the moment. If you live within 15 miles of a Bike World shop, one of our staff will personally deliver the new bike to you. You can either call us or purchase online to take advantage of this offer.
We still recommend visiting our shop if you want a more complete experience, including bike size evaluation and test riding different options.
To redeem online: select "in-store pickup" and select your store. When you go to your shopping card, you'll see an additional option called "Local Delivery for Bikes." Select that before submitting your order and we'll contact you to schedule a date/time.
For the safety of our staff, please do not schedule a new bike delivery if you (or someone you were recently in close contact with) are ill. Offer valid if you live within 15 miles of a Bike World retail shop. Offer available during regular business hours. In the event of modified hours/store closures, we'll do our best to schedule something with you, but we cannot guarantee immediate fulfillment. Offer subject to change.
CURBSIDE PICKUP NOW AVAILABLE
Whether it's online or over the phone, you can now request curbside pickup! If it's in stock, we'll have the items ready in a matter of hours! Come on over when it's ready and let us know when you arrive!
Remember, for everyone's health and well being, our staff are all constantly washing their hands, and will do so again before pulling your order + before bringing your order to your vehicle.
