The RXL Mountain WSD Shoes are the crown jewel in Bontrager's off-road shoe collection. From the ground up, the RXLs mean business. Bontrager's Silver series carbon soles deliver stiffness for maximum power transfer plus provide just enough flex for comfort and walking. Speaking of comfort, you get Bontrager's customizable eSole insoles, breathable InForm uppers, no-slip heels and tongues that extend all the way to the toes for a custom fit and feel. You'll also love the ratcheting buckles and Velcro closures, and the aggressive soles, which offer top traction and even include removable toe spikes.
In order to mount your pedals' cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns. There are 3 configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD.
