BICYCLE FITTING

WHAT IS A BIKE FIT?

Bikes and people come in all shapes and sizes. Finding the perfect match between the bike and the person does not happen by accident.

A "bike fit" is the process of adjusting a bike to better fit its rider. Bikes have enough adjustability to move the key components at least a couple inches to better fit the rider. Adjustments can include the drop, reach, angle, and width of the cockpit. Of course there is the height, fore/aft position, and tilt of the saddle. Even subtle adjustments can make all the difference.

ESSENTIAL FIT

This tackles the basics. Depending on the bike and its equipment, this includes setting the seat height and fore/aft adjustment as well as adjusting the handlebars and/or stem for comfort. Pricing is subject to hourly rate, with $25 being a baseline. Please call ahead to confirm a timeline for the fit.

This fit is included with new bike purchases from Bike World.

$25 ($100 hourly rate)
