Zipp takes rubber technology to the next level with their Tangente tires. Developed in the wind tunnel, these super tires boast a dimpled surface for premium aerodynamics and a silica compound for low rolling resistance. They also have a 290 thread-per-inch casing for a super-sweet ride, a tread that grips great on wet and dry pavement, and the average weight is only 282 grams.
This is a tubular tire (also called a "sew-up"). It is compatible with tubular rims and is installed with glue or a special adhesive tape. It will not work on standard clincher rims. If you have any questions about compatibility or mounting, please contact us for details.
